Game Summary
1st
Xenia won the coin toss and chose to receive. Troy defended the east goal. The Buccaneers had the first possession but were unable to move the ball. Following their punt, the Trojans started with the ball on their own 23 yd. line. It took them only In nine plays they moved the ball down the field and ended this possession with a touchdown pass from Quarterback Greg Yahle to Ian Dunaway. Ashlin Stoltz kicked a successful point-after, and with 5:31 on the clock, the score was Troy 7 - Xenia 0.
It was 3 and out for Xenia on their next possession. Troy's Kyle Turandot returned the Buccaneer punt to Troy's 34 yd. line and four plays later, Yahle handed off the ball to Xavier Ford who ran it in for Troy's 2nd touchdown. The Stoltz kick was good making the score Troy 14 - Xenia 0. The time was 1:44.
Xenia's Brice Womack returned the kick-off to the 28 yd. line and then disaster hit in the form of Trojan Brad Armstrong who intercepted a pass on the 25 yd. line.

2nd
Troy continued moving the ball, and in 3 plays , achieved another touchdown courtesy of Marcus Foster. Once again the Ashlin Stoltz kick was good, and with 11:09 left in the 2nd quarter, the score was Troy 21-Xenia 0. Troy scored again on a pass from Yahle to Foster with :46 seconds left. The half ended with the score 28-0..

3rd
The second half began with the Trojans receiving the ball and moving it once again quickly down the field. It took them only 4 plays to score another touchdown, and this time it was by Nate Fair. Stoltz kick was good. The time on the clock was 10:20 and the score was 35 - 0.

4th
Troy scored another touchdown on their first possession - on a pass from Yahle to Kailen Butcher. The kick was good, the time was 7:58, and the score was 42-0. The Buccs were 3 and out and the ball went back to the Trojans who scored their final touchdown with 2:17 left in the game. The score was 49-0.
Xenia's Zach Newsock managed to run the ball into the endzone as time expired. The point-after kick was not good, and the game ended with the score Troy 49-Xenia 6.
Troy is now 1-1 and will play Fairborn there next week.
