1st
Troy kicked off to the Aviators to start the game. Tyler Jones returned the ball to the Butler 48 yd. line. Butler moved the ball with 3 first downs until they reached the Troy 15 yd. line where they were 4th and 15. They tried a field goal and missed. The Trojans took over on their own 30 yd. line. They were 3 and out, and Greg Yahle had to punt
Butler took possession of the ball on their own 27 yd. line. The Aviators ran one play and then fumbled the ball which was recovered by Troy's Justin Bunch.
Troy had the ball for 2 plays and then fumbled. Butler recovered on their own 11 yd. line.
When the quarter ended, Butler had the ball on their own 17 yd. line, and the score was 0-0.

2nd
The Aviators continued to move the ball for 6 more plays but then had to punt from their own 24 yd. line.
Troy's Chris Basil ran the ball for 6 yards and then, on the next play, Isaiah Williams ran the ball for 52 yds. for Troy's first touchdown. Ashlin Stoltz's kick was good and with 8:38 left on the clock, the score was Troy 7 - Butler 0.
When Troy kicked off, Butler's Devontre Burks returned the ball to the 20 yd. line. After 2 series of plays, Butler had to punt. Trojan Marcus Foster returned the ball to the Troy 35 yd. line. It was 3 and out for Troy, and the punt went out of bounds on their 46 yd. line.
Butler was 3 and out. They went for it on the 4th down and did not make it. Troy took over on their own 20 yd. line.
Troy got 2 first downs, and then from the Butler 37 yd. line, Greg Yahle threw a beautiful pass to Williams in the end zone. Touchdown, Troy! The Stoltz kick was good, and with 27 seconds left in the half the score was 14-0.

3rd
Butler kicked off to start the second half. Justin Bunch returned the ball to the Troy 26 yd. line.
On this possession, Troy had 4 first downs on their way to the Butler 20 yd. line. Chris Basil carried the ball in for another touchdown. The kick was no good and the score was 20-0. Time left was 7:46.
The Aviators returned the kick off to their own 30 yd. line, and after 9 plays and 2 first downs, they managed to get the ball into the end zone. Connor Trentman scored the touchdown for Butler. The kick was no good, and at 2:31, the score was now 20-6.
Troy had the ball for the rest of the quarter, but had to punt. Yahler's punt rolled dead on the Butler's 4 yd. line

4th
Butler started the 4th quarter from their own 4 yd. line. They moved the ball all the way to Troy's 24 yd. line, but on 4th down and 12, they were able to move it only 3 yds. and the ball went back to the Trojans on downs.
Starting on their own 27, the Trojans, with runs by Foster, Williams, and Basil, moved the ball all the way down the field with Basil scoring a touchdown at 4:24. The point-after kick by Stoltz was good which made the score 27-6.
Each team had the ball for one more series. The final score was 27-6.
The Trojans are now 3 and 3. Next week, they will play again at home, and their opponents will be the Lebanon Warriors. Last year Troy played the Warriors at Lebanon and lost to them 24-14.
